K40 Air Assist
This air-assist kit directs a focused air stream onto the laser cut to suppress flames. This results in less burning and much cleaner cuts. A must-have for all K40 laser cutters.
This is an essential upgrade for all K40 laser cutters. Not only does it help create a superior quality workpiece, but also reduces the risk of fire, reduces smoke, and keeps the lenses clean.
An air stream is brought in from an air pump (sold separately) through the vinyl hose (7ft length, 1/4" ID, 3/8" OD), and focused to a point through a nozzle that is mounted on the laser head.
The hose moves within in a drag chain system designed specifically to mount onto the rail of K40 style laser cutters. It keeps the hose away from the laser's line of fire at all times and suspends it out of the way of the workpiece.
